What Alignable gives a small business
Alignable gives small owners a standing set of local contacts: alliances, Ambassadors who run networking online and at events, and a monthly allowance of connection requests. Reviewers who praise it credit events and one-to-one meetings for their connections. [3] [4]
What it costs beyond the fee
The fee is $29 to $89 a month. The bigger costs are time and contact-list risk: invitations can go out in your name, and five reviewers say they were charged after cancelling. A $276 charge is more than nine months of Member. [1] [7]
Your first three months
Month one: test the free plan
Send your five requests to the people you most want to meet, and attend the events in your area. Count the conversations you have, not the invitations you send.
Month two: move to Member only if the requests are working
If you would send more than five requests a month, Member at $29 gives 15 for $1.93 each. Track the cost per conversation, not per request, and keep the plan only if you send all 15. [1] [2]
Month three: decide, and cancel cleanly if you are out
If the conversations have not turned into work, cancel in My Membership, then Cancel Benefits, and keep the confirmation. Paid benefits run to the end of the billing period. [2]
Growing with Alignable
Premium adds profile analytics, boosted visibility and an Ask About Services button. Premium+ adds hosting events and groups. Its allowance was 100 requests a month before a 2025 cut to 75, according to a 3-star reviewer. [2] [5]
Those tools help only if you host or promote something. If you do not, the free plan or Member is the better buy.
Protecting yourself
Do not import your full contact list. Invitations have gone out in members’ names, and one member had a whole list invited after a mistaken tap on Skip in February 2024. [6] [9]
Read sponsorship terms before you pay. The company says refunds are not available once a campaign has launched, and reviewers report campaigns that produced nothing measurable. [8] [6]
Should a small business join?
Yes, on the free plan, if events in your area are active and you will send requests every week. Pay for Member only once you use all 15 requests. Skip sponsorships unless the terms and refund rule are in writing.
