Small business networking ยท How it works guide
Alignable runs on a monthly allowance of connection requests, paid plans billed monthly, and invitations that depend on what you choose to send. Cancelling ends paid benefits at the end of the billing period, and closing an account can require an identity check. Know those two steps before you pay. [1] [2] [5]
Add Omnitwine as a preferred source on Google| Step | Who acts | The clock | If nobody acts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sign up and pick a plan | You | Paid plans are listed by the month; no annual price is listed | You stay on the free plan with five requests a month[1] [2] |
| Send connection requests | You | 5 free, 15 on Member, 25 on Premium, 75 on Premium+, each month | Nothing is sent, and a paid plan still bills monthly[2] [1] |
| Import contacts and send invitations | You choose; members trigger invitations | At the moment you import | The company says invitations go out only by member action; reviewers say some went out in their names[8] [3] |
| Attend events and Smart Connect meetings | You | Set by each event or meeting | The company suggests webinars to members with poor results[7] [6] |
| Cancel a paid plan | You, in My Membership | Paid benefits run to the end of the billing period | Reviewers report charges after cancelling[2] [4] |
| Close the account | You, plus an identity check | A paid plan must be cancelled first | The closure can wait on ID; one 2026 request was held[2] [5] |
The product runs on a monthly allowance: 5 requests free, 15 on Member, 25 on Premium and 75 on Premium+. Paperbell describes the cancel path as My Membership, then Cancel Benefits. Paid benefits run to the end of the billing period. [2]
Reviewers who were charged after cancelling describe billing that kept running, so keep proof of the date you cancelled. A three-month commitment stopped one reviewer from cancelling in December 2025, and another called cancelling impossible in April 2026. [4] [3]
Sign up on the free plan and send your five requests to the people you most want to meet. Then attend the events in your area. Reviewers credit events and one-to-one meetings for the connections they describe. [7]
Alignable lets you import contacts for invitations. The company says members choose which contacts to invite, and that invitations are optional. Reviewers say invitations went out in their name, and one says a global unsubscribe did not stop the emails. [8] [3]
Import only the people you would invite yourself, one at a time.
The three sticking points are the same ones reviewers raise most often. Cancelling can turn into a dispute about a commitment or a charge. Invitations can reach contacts you did not mean to invite. Closing an account can wait on an identity check. [3] [5]
Support is the fourth. Three reviewers in January 2026 say it was hard to reach, and the company lists a form and chat. [6]
