About $11 million of Boardy’s funding is documented. A reported $200 million fund and $300 million in LP interest are not confirmed by a filing, so treat Boardy as a sourcing test rather than a record of deals. [1] [2] [4]

Boardy was founded in October 2024 with a $3 million pre-seed, and TechCrunch named HF0 as its largest investor rather than its lead. In January 2025 it announced an $8 million seed led by Creandum. Round Funded puts the total at about $11 million, which matches the two rounds that are named. [1] [2]
Altis lists $11 million across “three rounds” but names only two, so do not count a third round until a filing or a company page confirms it. [3]
A December 2025 GovCLab write-up says Boardy’s founder reportedly has a $200 million venture fund and a scout network. Round Funded cites $300 million in LP interest and 1,500 inbound LP requests. Upstarts Media says the $300 million figure came from the founder’s social post. [4] [1] [5]
No filing or fund close confirms either figure. Ask for the fund’s legal name and a filing you can check before you treat the money as available for your deal flow. [4] [5]
The founder says Boardy makes about 1,500 introductions a day and that about 20% lead to a meeting both people find useful, against a 50% goal. At that pace, 20% is roughly 300 useful meetings a day. The company gives no method for either figure. [6]
Upstarts Media says the claim that Boardy helped over 100 founders raise by the end of 2025 should be taken “with a healthy dose of salt.” The outcome itself is unconfirmed. [5]
Boardy’s official pages describe it as serving users. The founder says it works for him, not for the user, and calls it an “AI principal” rather than an agent. Investors should weigh that conflict before they treat Boardy’s introductions as neutral. [6] [7]
Use Boardy to test whether its conversations surface founders you would not find otherwise, and count the meetings that come out of it. Do not cite its fund, its introduction count or its success rate in an investment case until a filing or an independent count supports it.
