Boardy AI Tips

The costly Boardy mistakes involve money, calendar access and what you share. Check the $100 eligibility in writing, count unique meetings from day one, and keep private details out of the brief. [1] [3] [10]

Counting meetings looselyCount each unique contact once, and aim for 25 in 30 daysBelow 25, the Terms say nothing about a fee, and the pool is capped at about 50 payments[1]

For the person looking for introductions

Write a brief you would show a stranger. Figures in your brief may be shared in introductions unless you mark them private, so mark anything sensitive as private and leave out health, family and personal finances beyond business. A public LinkedIn link and your current status are needed for the search to work. [2] [6] [5]

Answer the follow-up the same day. Introductions depend on both people, and a silent reply can stall one. In one account Boardy stopped writing and said it was waiting for the user’s direction, so a specific next step is the move you control. [8] [9]

Check the To field before you approve a draft. If you use Ask Boardy from ChatGPT or Claude, confirm the To field says boardy@boardy.ai before you approve. Boardy sends the email from your own address only after you approve the full text. [5] [7]

For anyone connecting a calendar

Read the Google permissions first. Boardy’s Privacy Policy limits calendar access to free and busy blocks and to meetings it books or is asked to manage. Confirm that against the permissions you see before you connect. [3]

Clean up after disconnecting. Disconnecting Google Calendar does not delete events Boardy created, so remove them yourself. One user reports a meeting booked without her asking, and she told Boardy to stop. [3] [9]

For anyone who gets an email or a message

Verify before you act on a message. In December 2025, a human impersonator emailed one user for about a week, posing as Boardy from another domain, and asked for a form or a call. A sender address can be spoofed, so check any request through Boardy’s official site or a channel you already know, and do not fill in a form or take a call a message asks for. [10]

Ask for deletion in writing. Send a request to privacy@boardy.ai. The Privacy Policy says rights requests get a response within one month, and deletion is handled “promptly,” with no set deadline. Keep the reply as your record. [3]
