Follow new posts through a feed, and test it before you rely on it
The unofficial feed gives you RSS, Atom and JSON versions of the main feed, top posts by week, month or year, and a search. It also filters out link posts. One individual maintains it, and Indie Hackers does not. Its post endpoint returned a server error on 5 November 2026, so subscribe only after the feed loads in your reader. [1]
If that feed fails, ihrss offers the same kind of feed for top and newest stories, refreshed every 10 minutes. Expect posts to appear up to ten minutes late. Its hosted site returned a 404 on 5 November 2026, so the self-hosted route is the only one you can count on. That route needs a Cloudflare Worker and some setup. [2]
Three free Chrome extensions, and the newest listing is from 2022
IndieHackers Related Articles suggests more posts on the topic you are reading. Its listing gives two URL patterns, so it may not appear on every post page. The developer says it collects no data. With 3 users and no ratings, it has had little testing, so open a few posts before you rely on it. [6]
Indie Hackers - No Link Posts hides link posts from the feed, so you see only what members write on the site. It does not change your own posting, and the store listing shows no price. [5]
The light theme is a small MIT-licensed project with three commits, first posted in June 2020. Click its icon to switch a tab back to dark for that session. Install it only if you prefer light mode. [7]
Browse AI tracks posts over time, but it is scraping
Browse AI's post scraper copies titles, authors, upvotes, comments, dates and topic tags from public listing pages into a table. The free account covers one website and needs no card, so test a single listing page first. The vendor page does not state how many runs that allows. [3]
Scraping can break a site's terms of use, and the vendor page says nothing about Indie Hackers' rules. Read those terms before you schedule any runs. If you only want to read the feed, skip the scraper: the feeds above cover that without it. [3]
ShowMRR makes milestone cards, but it knows nothing about Indie Hackers
ShowMRR makes images for milestones such as a first paying customer, $1K MRR, $10K MRR, $1M ARR and launch day. You type in the revenue and date. Nothing syncs from your payment provider, and the card is sized for X, LinkedIn and Instagram. Use it if you post milestones and want a consistent card. Skip it if you want revenue pulled in automatically. [4]
The tool is free with no account or limits, and it shows ads. Its watermark can be turned off. The site also promotes a sister product, 1MinEbook. [4]
Where to start
Start with the feed that loads for you, and add one Chrome extension to see whether it helps. Use the free guides for sign-up and posting steps, and read the community's own tips before you post. Skip the scraper unless you have read the site's terms and have a specific question to answer.
