ADPList Complaints

ADPList complaints are few by count, but the ones about money are the hardest to fix. A missed paid session gets an email and no described refund. Mark no-shows on time, keep records, and ask about refunds before you pay. [1] [3] [2] [9]

Complaints are few, but the money ones have no clean fix

About 9 of 219 Trustpilot reviews are one-star. The one-star themes are sessions that never start or end early, plus messaging failures, not the advice given inside them. The hardest cases involve money, because the published rules give mentees little to claim. The pricing page shows what is and isn’t published. [1]

Mentees: a missed session ends with an email

The no-show rule is clear. Wait about 10 minutes after the start, then mark the no-show during the session. The mark can be undone within 24 hours, and ADPList doesn’t say what happens after that. A missed paid session has no described refund or credit, only the email route. [2] [3]

What to do: mark the no-show on time, screenshot the booking and the empty call, and email ADPList’s help address the same day. Then ask for a refund in writing. If the answer is no, you have a record of the request. [3]

Mentees: questions that go unanswered and unclear prices

One 3-star review says the mentor did not cover the questions sent in advance, and ADPList offered direct contact. A 4-star review says paid and free sessions look alike when you book, and asks for longer free sessions. [1]

What to do: check the price on the profile before you book, and send your questions early. If they go unanswered on the call, raise it with ADPList before you post a review. [4]

Mentors: late cancellations and no-shows

One mentor’s 2022 blog post describes about 10 mentees over about three weeks, and says last-minute cancellations and no-shows “happened often.” That is one mentor’s experience from 2022, not a count across the platform. ADPList’s 2022 rules counted a cancellation within 3 hours of the start as last-minute. [5] [6]

ADPList’s 2025 help article gives mentors a routine: reminders a week and a day before, turning off auto-accept, checking attendance, and asking mentees below 90% attendance to confirm. Strikes under the community guidelines run from a written warning to a 3-month suspension, then removal. [7] [8]

What to do: as a mentor, send reminders at the one-week and one-day marks and check attendance before each call. As a mentee, report a no-show only after the 10-minute wait, so the record is accurate. [7]

Both sides: suspension without notice

The Terms let ADPList suspend accounts “at our discretion, without notice,” and they say AI output may be inaccurate, with no liability for decisions based on it. The community guidelines give a first violation a written warning, a second a 3-month suspension and a third permanent removal. Harassment can be handled faster. [9] [8]

What to do: keep bookings and messages on ADPList, and write to community@adplist.org for guideline and AI-settings questions. [8]
