Peerlist for Job Seekers
Peerlist helps a job seeker show work and a verified current employer, but it is not a job board. Its careers site listed no open roles when checked in November 2026, so use the profile alongside the employers' own pages. [1] [2] [5]

What Peerlist gives a job seeker
A public profile that shows your published work, plus a verified current employer if you have a company email. The verified badge confirms your current employer, and you keep control of who gets your contact details. [2] [4]
Openings are the weak point. Employers post jobs only from company profiles that need verified experience, and Peerlist's own careers site listed no open roles when checked in November 2026. [1] [6]
What it costs you: no route for contractors and an unpriced identity check
The workplace check needs a work email at your current company. Freelancers and contractors who lack one have no document route, because offer letters and salary slips are not accepted. Identity verification is the other option, with a one-time fee Peerlist does not publish. [2] [3]
Only the current workplace can be verified. Past roles need the company's admin to verify them, so the badge describes where you work now. [2]
Your first three months
Start with the workplace check if you have a company email. If the company is not in the dropdown, the code goes to your student email and a review takes 24 to 48 hours. [2]
Then complete the profile to at least 70%. Below that, no one else can see it, so the work you've done stays hidden. [7]
Keep contact details off until you want them seen. Recruiters get them only if you apply to a job they posted, so the setting is your choice of who gets them. [4]
Using the LinkedIn import once
The Resume tab copies work and education from a public LinkedIn profile. It works once, with up to three uses, and does not sync. A later autofill can overwrite data and remove your verifications. [8]
What to do: import once, then check your verified entries before you apply anywhere. [8]
Growing without relying on Scroll for jobs
Post your work as #show on Scroll, with a caption on every link. #hiring posts are limited to people directly tied to a company or offering referrals, so a job seeker outside the company should not expect a hiring post to lead anywhere. [5]
The job claims are a warning sign. A 2023 founder's comment said Peerlist had 200+ jobs, but a commenter replied that the first three were also on other companies' career pages. Check any role on the employer's own page before you apply. [9]
Protecting yourself
Use a personal profile for yourself only. Using one for a company is a suspension reason. [7]
Check your visibility settings before you share the link. Contact details are off by default, so you only need to turn them on if you want recruiters to see them. [4]
Finding people who can help beyond Peerlist
Peerlist will not hand you a job, so pair it with direct outreach. To find a person who can refer you to a role, tell Omnitwine's AI that you want a job, and it suggests members who fit, each with a reason. It is free and takes no cut, and both of you decide whether to connect. It does not list jobs, so check openings on the employer's own page. [10] [11]
Should you use Peerlist to find a job?
Yes, as a profile that shows your work to people who check you. A verified workplace and a complete profile are worth having for free. No, as a job search. Openings are thin, and the hiring route is limited to people inside the company, so keep applying through the employer's own careers page. [1] [2] [5]
