Builder profiles and jobs ยท How it works guide
Peerlist runs on one clock that matters: a Launchpad window that opens on Monday and runs for one week. A launch needs a product that is 100% complete on your profile, and the ranking rewards upvotes from verified profiles. [1] [2] [5]
Add Omnitwine as a preferred source on Google| Step | Who acts | The clock | If nobody acts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Build the profile to at least 70% | You | Public only at 70% complete | The profile stays hidden from other members[5] |
| Put the finished product on your profile | Maker | 100% complete at launch time | The launch fails[1] |
| Pick the day inside the launch week | Maker | Window opens Monday and runs one week | No launch happens that week[1] |
| Products appear in random order | Peerlist | Monday and Tuesday | Nothing to do[2] |
| Members upvote and comment | Members | Within the launch week | The launch ranks lower[2] |
| Top three are featured; top five get a backlink | Peerlist | Weekly | Other launches get neither[2] |
A Launchpad launch opens on Monday and runs for one week, and you can schedule it for another day in that week. Among the features in the help center, it is the one with a fixed window, so timing matters most here. [1]
The product is the other gate. It must be on your profile and 100% complete at launch time. Finish it before the week starts, because an incomplete product fails regardless of how well you promote it. [1]
Peerlist ranks launches on an aggregate score built from upvotes, comments, views, link visits and traction. Only qualitative comments count, and upvotes from verified profiles count for more. Peerlist does not publish the weights, so the exact ranking is unknown. [2]
| Signal | How it counts | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Upvotes from verified profiles | Count for more | The size of the extra weight is not stated |
| Other upvotes | Part of the aggregate | No separate weight given |
| Qualitative comments | Count toward the score | Only these comments count |
| 14-day activity streak | Unlocks a Super Upvote that counts double on Launchpad | Streaks are tracked in UTC [2] [4] |
The top three launches each week get featured and a product badge. Only the top five get a backlink, so most launches get no link at all. Peerlist's pages disagree on whether the featured launches go out in a weekly email or a monthly newsletter, so ask before you count on the email. [2] [1]
Upvote outreach is the step most likely to cost you the launch. Asking strangers for upvotes is banned, and breaking that rule can lead to suspension. [3]
Posting requires being an admin of a company profile. A company profile can be created only once work experience is verified, you can have one company profile at a time, and it cannot be deleted. The website can be changed only through support. [6] [7]
The job form asks custom screening questions and pre-fills basic personal details. It names no listing duration and no approval step. The optional Career Site then hosts your jobs on a subdomain of your own domain, which needs DNS records and up to an hour to take effect. [6] [8]
Peerlist's verification is optional, and an identity check runs through Stripe and is usually decided within 24 hours. A workplace check needs a work email at your current company, and if the company is not listed you get a student-email code and a 24 to 48 hour review. [9] [10]
Peerlist's Resume tab can import your work and education from a public LinkedIn profile, one time. Use it once, and check your verified items afterwards, because autofill can overwrite them. [11]
Two things stop launches before they start. The first is the profile: below 70% complete, nobody else can see it, and a launch needs a 100% complete product. The second is verification: the launch help pages say a verified profile is required, while the verification page says it is optional. Ask Peerlist before launch week, not during it. [5] [1] [9]
Tetriz, a launch guide, suggests starting outreach about two weeks before launch. Peerlist's help center does not mention that timing. [12]
