CoFoundersLab Complaints

Cancelling is still the top complaint, and the newest ones are about email and deleting accounts. A federal class action filed in December 2023 alleges refused cancellations and missing renewal notices; these are allegations, not findings. Save proof of every cancel request before the trial ends. The complaints have moved from cancelling to email and accounts

Cancelling is still the most common complaint on Trustpilot, in reviews posted from March 2022 to October 2026. Reviewers describe cancel forms that do nothing and charges that keep coming. [1] [2] [3]

The newest complaints are about something else. 11 of the 20 newest Trustpilot reviews, from February to October 2026, mention spam or failed unsubscribes. Four of the 10 BBB complaints on display, dated October 2025 to July 2026, describe email after an opt-out or removal request. [4] [6]

Cancelling and charges are the biggest money risk

Reviewers describe charges that kept coming for weeks or months after they cancelled or deleted their account. Between January 2024 and December 2025, reviewers describe card disputes, chargebacks and blocks, and several went to the bank because the cancel route failed. [2] [3] [5]

What to do: Find the cancel control before the trial ends, take a screenshot of it, and keep the date and confirmation of each cancel request. If a charge is wrong or unauthorized, contact your card issuer promptly, keep your evidence, and watch its dispute deadline. You can write to the Billing Issue form at the same time. [10] [8]

Email keeps coming after you opt out

The privacy policy says marketing email can be stopped through the link in any commercial email or in account settings. Security and account notices cannot be turned off. Reviewers say the unsubscribe link did not work. [9] [6]

What to do: Use the unsubscribe link in your first email, note the date, and send one written opt-out to the contact address. If mail continues, forward each message with its date to the company and keep a record. [10] [9]

Accounts that will not close

Reviewers say they could not delete an account, or that their data stayed online after closing it. The privacy policy says data stops being visible within 24 hours of closure and that closed-account data is generally deleted within 30 days. Four of the 10 BBB complaints on display describe deletion requests that failed or went unanswered. [4] [9] [6]

What to do: Cancel any subscription first, then ask for deletion in writing through the Account Issue form. Keep the reply, and check after 30 days whether the profile is still visible to members. [10] [9]

Support and refunds: the slow end of the complaints

Reviews from 2022 to 2026 describe emails and forms that went unanswered for weeks or months. Reviews from October 2023 to September 2025 describe refunds that were refused or approved and never paid, and one reports a $120 service that was never delivered. [2] [3] [5]

What to do: Send every refund request through the Billing Issue form and keep the reply. A written request is the only record you will have if the company stops responding. [10]

Price confusion: $89, $29 and $30 a month all appear

Reviews from 2022 to 2024 describe $89 a month charges, and some describe a $120 charge. Reviews from 2025 and 2026 describe $29. BBB complaints cite $30 a month in October 2025 and $29 in December 2025. No company statement on the change has been published. [3] [5] [6]

What to do: Compare the monthly price on the checkout screen with the first receipt, and dispute any difference in writing straight away. [11]

The class action: allegations, not findings

A federal class action against CFLAB, LLC (case 2:23-cv-10404) was filed on 12 December 2023. The complaint alleges violations of the federal Electronic Funds Transfer Act, missing renewal and cancellation notices, refused cancellations, and an $89 monthly price for a Launch program. [7]

These are allegations, and no finding has been made. The Terms name the operator 'CFL LAB LLC', while the Privacy policy uses 'CFLAB LLC', so the entity names differ across documents. [7] [8] [9]

What to do: Treat the filing as a reason to check the renewal and cancel steps before any trial, not as proof of what happened to you. The steps in the sections above apply either way. [7]
