Trustpilot gives CoFoundersLab 1.3 out of 5 from 107 reviews, and 94% of them are one-star. The BBB rates it F with 21 complaints in three years. Those scores are real, but they come from people who had problems: Trustpilot says the company has not invited reviews, so the sample is skewed. [1] [7] [6]

|---|---|---|---|
| Trustpilot | 1.3 out of 5 | 107 | Mostly one-star; 4% five-star; the company has not invited reviews[1] |
| SmartCustomer (Sitejabber) | 2.3 stated; about 1.5 from its star split | 39 | 82% one-star; only 20 visible; the company replies to none[6] |
| Better Business Bureau | F, not accredited | 21 complaints in 3 years | How complaints are handled, not the service[7] |

Trustpilot shows CoFoundersLab at 1.3 out of 5, labelled 'Bad', from 107 reviews. 94% are one-star and 4% are five-star. Only 32 of the 107 reviews fall in the last 12 months, and the profile is unclaimed. [1]
Trustpilot notes that the company has not invited its customers to review, so the reviews may not be representative. The score therefore tells you that people who posted were mostly unhappy. It does not tell you how many members are satisfied, because the satisfied ones rarely post. [1]
The BBB profile lists CoFoundersLab as 'NOT BBB Accredited', with a start date of 29 January 2011 and 21 complaints filed in three years. Its grade is F, and it measures how complaints are answered. The BBB's own displayed complaints show the same pattern: failed deletions, email after an opt-out, and charges after a cancellation attempt. [7] [8]
The star scores differ because the sites attract different people. SmartCustomer's 2.3 is stated, but its star split works out to about 1.5, and only 20 of 39 reviews are visible. Read the text of the reviews, not the average, because the average hides which problems come up. [6]
Positive reviews are scarce. Those that appear praise the Launch program, a networking session or a founder session, and most of that praise dates from 2022 and 2023, not from 2026. [4] [6]
Each problem below costs money or access, not just patience. [2]

The 1.3 is not a verdict on the directory's matches. Reviewers who had a useful contact are few, and most of the complaints are about the account, not the people you would meet. Judge the directory by whether you get replies from members in your first two weeks. [4]
Read the newest reviews first, because the 2026 posts describe the current cancel and email problems. Then look for the specific problem you care about: a reviewer who describes a working cancel step is more useful than a one-star rant with no details. [5] [1]
