Founder and advisor discovery ยท How it works guide
CoFoundersLab runs on a free directory and a Premium trial that turns into a charge unless you cancel first. The cancel steps are not on the Terms page, and the Terms set no general refund policy. Learn the cancel route before you start the trial, not after the first charge clears. [2] [3] [6]
Add Omnitwine as a preferred source on Google| Step | Who acts | The clock | If nobody acts |

| Sign up and search the free directory | You | None published | Search and messages stay 'Limited'[1] |
| Start the Premium trial | You | 30 days, per the Premium page and Terms | The trial runs to its end[1] [2] |
| Trial ends | Nobody | Card charged at the start of each billing period | You pay $29 a month[2] |
| Cancel before the renewal date | You | Before the renewal date | Charges continue; some reviewers stop payment at the bank[2] [6] |
| Ask for a refund | You | No general refund policy in the Terms | Direct-debit payers claim from their bank[2] |
The most useful thing to understand about CoFoundersLab is that the trial ends on its own. Premium starts with a 30-day trial, and the card is charged automatically at the start of each billing period after it. The Terms say to cancel before the renewal date to avoid further charges. [1] [2]
The cancel steps are the part the company does not show. The Terms point to a 'cancellation and refund process' that is not on the page, and the Contact page has no cancel option. Once a charge clears, the Terms set no general refund policy, so you claim from your bank instead. [2] [3]
The timeline is the part to plan around. A 30-day trial gives you one month of Premium messaging. If you need a cofounder by a deadline, decide in the first two weeks whether the directory has produced any real replies, and cancel before the renewal date if it has not. [1] [2]
The official Premium page and Terms both say 30 days. StartupGeek says 14, which would cut the time you have to test the directory by more than half. The official page is the better source on the trial length, but check it on the checkout screen because the guide and the company disagree. [1] [4]
Cancelling is the most common complaint on Trustpilot, in reviews from March 2022 to October 2026. Reviewers describe a cancel option that is missing, or a form that does nothing. [5] [6] [7]
Support is the second sticking point. Reviews from 2022 to 2026 describe emails and forms that went unanswered for weeks or months. SmartCustomer says the company replies to none of the reviews on its page. [6] [8]
