Frequently asked questions
Does a Launchpad launch cost money?
No fee is shown in Peerlist's Launchpad FAQ, and no paid launch tier is named. The launch window opens on Monday and runs for one week, and the product must be 100% complete on your profile. [2] [3]
How much do Peerlist ads cost?
Peerlist does not publish ad prices. A competing listing service says ads are priced on request, so ask Peerlist for a quote. [4]
Is there a paid plan for individuals?
The help center names no paid individual plan, so the free features are the only ones its documentation describes. Peerlist's paid items are the verification, custom domain and employer routes, each with its own answer below. [1]
Do I have to verify my identity?
No. Peerlist says verification is optional and can be removed in Manage Verification settings. Launch help pages disagree on whether a verified profile is needed to launch, so ask before a launch week. [5] [3]
What does verification cost?
Workplace verification is free. Identity verification has a one-time fee that Peerlist does not publish, and it is non-refundable once verification starts. Custom domains are paid through Stripe, with no amount stated. [6] [7] [8]
Who can see my profile and contact details?
Profiles below 70% complete are not public to others. Contact details are visible only if you turn them on, and recruiters see them only when you apply to a job they posted. [9] [10]
Does Peerlist sell my data?
Peerlist says it does not sell, rent or trade personal information to third parties for commercial purposes, though aggregate, non-identifying trends may be shared. Google Analytics and PostHog track the pages logged-in users view and link them to a user ID, and opting out can break features. [10]
How do I delete my account?
Delete it from Settings, then Account, or email support from the address registered to the account. Residual copies may be kept "for a brief time period," and the policy gives no length. [10]
Why was my account suspended, and can it come back?
Peerlist suspends for an obscene name or photo, using a personal profile for a company, articles for SEO or backlinks, or spam across Scroll, Launchpad or Jobs. It can come back after you fix the cause and email support, and there is no appeal beyond that email. [9] [11]
Can a company post jobs on Peerlist, and what does it cost?
Yes, but only a company profile admin can post, and the company profile needs verified work experience first. The help center gives no price, plan, approval step or listing length, so the cost is unknown. [12] [13]
Does Peerlist have jobs for me to apply to?
Do not count on it for openings. Peerlist's own careers site listed no open roles when checked in November 2026, and Scroll's hiring posts are limited to people tied to a company or offering referrals. A 2023 claim of 200+ jobs was disputed in the same thread. [14] [15] [16]
Can I find a gig, an investor or a hire, not just a job?
If you need a client or a hire, not a job, Omnitwine is one option. Tell its AI what you want, and it suggests members who fit, each with a reason. Both of you decide whether to connect. It is free to use and takes no cut, but it does not verify identity or skills, and its network is young, so results depend on who has joined. [17] [18] [19]
