Founder and startup talent network · Founders guide
Founders should test CoffeeSpace's free core for two weeks, then pay for Premium only if a locked filter would change the list. The company's match claims are unaudited, and its Terms give no refund route. [4] [1] [6]

CoffeeSpace says creating a profile, matching and chatting are free for founders. Your profile draws on public LinkedIn data and what you enter, such as location, the cofounder you seek and your working style. Matching shows only people who meet each other's stated requirements. [4] [9]
The Playground demo shows the filter set you would see in the app, including the maximum distance of 10 miles and dealbreaker options. Use it to learn the controls before you sign up, but treat it as a demo, not the live pool. [5]
Premium Class costs $24.99 a month, or $12.50 a month on the 6-month plan that costs $74.99 up front. Business Class costs $49.99 a month, or $33.33 on a 3-month plan at $99.99. Both renew unless you turn them off at least 24 hours before the period ends. [1]
The paid tiers add filters, and the four that matter most for founders, age range, equity preference, number of founders and prior startup experience, are paid filters in the mobile app. Coffee bundles, from $9.99 for three, do not say what a coffee unlocks. [5] [1]
In the first two weeks, set your requirements and count the candidates you see each day on the free tier. That count is your baseline, since the daily limit is not stated and the feed was called slow by at least one reviewer in 2025. [2]
In weeks three and four, decide whether one locked filter changes the list. If it does, buy the 3-month plan at $49.99, which is $16.66 a month, and set a reminder for the renewal date the day you buy it. [1]
After month one, judge the matches by what you did with them. If no conversation has led to a call, the free core and a paid filter will not fix that alone. Change your requirements, or try another route.
The company says an advanced search is in testing with about 100 users, with no launch date, so the filters you need may not be ready for a wider group. The company also says it is preparing its next fundraise for the third or fourth quarter of 2026, with no amount given. [2] [8]
Before you share a résumé or connect LinkedIn, ask whether data is encrypted in transit. The store's own declaration says it is not, and the policy does not address it. Ask whether profile text goes to an AI model provider, since the policy names none. [3] [7]
Read the arbitration clause and its exceptions before any dispute. The Terms require binding arbitration and bar class or representative actions, so an individual claim is the only route the Terms describe. Share contact details only after you have checked the person's profile against an independent source. [6]
Y Combinator's Cofounder Matching is free and approval-gated. Its FAQ says profile approval can take up to a week, and it limits invites to 15 a week. CoFoundersLab Premium costs $29 a month after a 30-day trial. [10] [11] [12]
Yes, for the free core and a short test. Not yet at $24.99 a month. Pay only when one locked filter would change your list, and buy the shortest term that covers the search. Read the pricing page before you buy. [1]
