What you get on the free plan, and what VIP adds

The free plan lets you browse distance-first cards, see how many people match your search, and join groups and events. VIP adds the search results, the ability to message before you connect, and a few extras such as seeing who wants to meet you. Know which of these you need before you pay for anything. What it costs you, by store

On the web VIP is $29 a month or $249 a year. The US App Store charges $29 a month, $139 for six months and $199 a year. The Polish App Store charges 99 zł a month and 799 zł a year. The three-month test before you pay for a year

Month one is free. Complete your profile, browse for two weeks, and run one advanced search with a short role-and-place phrase. Month two, if that search returned the people you need, buy one month of VIP and message them. Month three, check whether those messages led to a real conversation. Group invites go by phone number, SMS or link, and admins control adding members by default. Creating a free event gives you a public page and a guest list.
