Lunchclub Pricing

Lunchclub is free on the App Store, but it publishes no plan and its app has had no update since 3 March 2022. Free only helps if the service still books calls. Happenstance Pro costs $288 a year billed yearly, and Boardy's introductions are free. [1] [7] [8]

Free is no bargain if the service no longer books calls

Lunchclub appears to be retired. Its latest App Store release is dated 3 Mar 2022, and the status page lists the dated signals behind that verdict. Prices below may no longer apply, and this page is kept for reference. [1] [12] [3]

No, not until a login works. Lunchclub costs nothing on the App Store, which lists it as free with no in-app purchases. The last app update was on 3 March 2022, and the newest cited user report is from February 2024. [1] [2]

The test takes one sign-in and one meeting request. If the login works and a call gets booked, the free price is worth using. If the code never arrives, the price does not matter, and you should move to the alternatives.

Lunchclub publishes no plan, so its price is free only on paper

Lunchclub's pricing and terms pages publish no text. The company's site shows no paid plan, renewal or cancellation rule. [3]

In 2020 the CEO floated fees on executive hires, on introductions between founders and investors, and on selling employee connections at large companies. None became a settled model. [4]

A 2020 invitation quoted in a blog called the service "a free service," and a February 2024 personal review describes it the same way. That review carries a referral link the author received, so its praise for a free service is one reviewer's view. [5] [6]

Happenstance Pro is the only paid plan here, at $288 a year

Happenstance Pro is $24 per month, billed yearly, with a 20% off badge. Billed once a year, that is $288 ($24 × 12). The pricing page lists no monthly Pro price beside the monthly toggle, so the cost of a single month is not listed. [7]

Its homepage says it searches your connected Gmail, Calendar, LinkedIn and X accounts to rank people and suggest warm-introduction paths. You pay for that search and give it access to those accounts, which is a company claim. [7]

Boardy's introductions are free, but its extras and caps are unpriced

Boardy's FAQ, says talking to Boardy and getting introductions is free. Some extras are paid, such as the partner model for events, and the FAQ gives no price for them. [8]

The FAQ also caps new introductions per day and per person, with no numbers. Ask for the caps before you rely on Boardy for a steady flow of introductions. [8]
