A professional who wants to be found

- Yes, on Basic
German-speaking job platform · Is it worth it? guide
Keep XING on the free Basic tier unless you need to message people outside your network. Premium costs 7.95 to 9.95 EUR a month on the 12-month term (meetergo, October 2026) and renews unless you cancel 21 days ahead. A recruiter with one role should buy one job ad at 899 EUR net (OnApply, 2026), and a team that searches every month should price a TalentManager seat at 366 EUR (Sprad, October 2026). [3] [9] [11]
Add Omnitwine as a preferred source on Google| If you are… | Worth it? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A professional who wants to be found | Yes, on Basic | Free profile and job search; the cost problems start with Premium[1] |
| A job seeker who needs to message people outside your network | Only for a short, planned test | Premium messages any member, but costs 7.95 to 9.95 EUR a month (meetergo, October 2026) and renews unless cancelled[3] [4] |
| A job seeker considering ProJobs | Rarely | A three-month booking produced almost no profile views for some 2025 reviewers[7] |
| A recruiter with one role to fill | Yes, if the role needs it | One job ad: 899 EUR net for 60 days, or 1,069.81 EUR with 19% German VAT (OnApply, 2026)[9] |
| A recruiting team that searches every month | Only with a seat budget | TalentManager Core 366 EUR a seat a month; Pro 474 EUR (Sprad, October 2026); minimum term disputed[11] |
| Someone who wants to leave | Cancel first | Cancel Premium and add-ons, then delete the profile[15] |
XING is worth keeping free for most professionals and job seekers. Premium is worth paying for only if you message people outside your network on purpose. For recruiters, the cost should follow the need: one job ad for one role, or a TalentManager seat for a team that searches every month.
The biggest risk in every case is a renewal you forget to cancel. At least 15 reviewers describe one. [6]
Basic gives you a profile, job search and contact with your existing network at no cost. Reviewers say Premium adds little, and that free users lost profile-viewer visibility and cover-letter features (about five reviewers, 2021 to 2025). [1] [5]
Job search is free, and full listings are visible without logging in. Premium's extras are outreach and visitor names, not better listings. It does let you message members outside your network, which is the one case where the monthly price buys something a free profile cannot. [2] [8]
Three or four reviewers say a paid product helped them get hired between 2023 and 2025. That is a small group of people who had a result to report, and it does not show your odds. [5]
A single job ad costs 899 EUR net for 60 days (OnApply, 2026), and resellers quote between 449 and 999 EUR net for the same ad (Personalturm, 2026). Check whether VAT applies before you compare. TalentManager is priced per seat: Core at 366 EUR a month and Pro at 474 EUR (Sprad, October 2026). A seat pays off only for a team that searches every month. [9] [10] [11]
The one review of TalentManager on OMR, from September 2026, rates it 3.5 out of 5, but that is a single review. Pin says it suits some sectors, and Sprad says its AI matching is minimal. [13] [14] [12]
The answer changes in three cases. A planned outreach campaign can justify Premium for one term, as long as you cancel 21 days before it renews. A sector that matches TalentManager's strengths, with a team ready to use it, is worth a seat once the minimum term is in writing. A recruiter who expects a single hire should buy one job ad, because it is the smaller commitment.
