XING Pricing

Basic XING is free, and Premium is the paid upgrade. Guides disagree on its monthly price: meetergo gives 7.95 EUR and 9.95 EUR a month on a 12-month term (October 2026). Premium renews unless you cancel at least 21 days before the term ends, so set that date before you pay. [1] [2]

Is free XING good enough?

For job seekers, usually yes. Basic is free and gives you a profile, job search and contact with people already in your network, and job search is now XING's main function. Premium adds what you pay for: messages to members outside your network, full search fields, and the names of people who viewed your profile. [12] [13] [11]

Test before you pay: count the people you need to message this month who are not in your network. If the number is zero, stay on Basic.

For recruiters, free is only a starting point. A company profile and sharing a job inside your own network cost nothing, but a public job listing does. Resellers quote 899 EUR net for one ad, which is 1,069.81 EUR gross at German VAT of 19%. [17] [12]

Premium costs 95 to 120 EUR a year, and the guides disagree on the monthly price

meetergo (updated 7 October 2026) gives two figures for the same 12-month term: 7.95 EUR a month in its key points and 9.95 EUR in its pricing section. An earlier giga guide (2016) gave 7.99 EUR, and netz-trends (February 2021) gave a 6.90 EUR introductory rate, then 7.95 EUR. Budget for the higher figure: 9.95 EUR a month is 119.40 EUR a year, against 95.40 EUR at 7.95 EUR. [1] [2] [3]

The 3-month term costs more. meetergo (October 2026) gives 11.95 EUR a month, so four 3-month terms come to 143.40 EUR a year, 48 EUR more than the 12-month term at 7.95 EUR. meetergo also mentions discounts of up to 50% on longer terms, without the conditions. It does not say whether its prices include German VAT of 19%, so the amount you pay could be higher. [1]

Set the cancellation date before you pay, because renewal is automatic

Premium renews for a full term unless you cancel at least three weeks before the term ends. Guides from 2016 to 2026 and reviewers from 2020 and 2021 use that rule. One review from January 2025 says 14 days, and XING's own 2025 reply on Trustpilot says cancellation works until the last day of the term. [2] [4] [6]

The safe action: send your cancellation at least 21 days before the term ends, not on the last day. Three weeks is the strictest of these dates, so it holds under every reading. Click the link in the identification email straight away, and keep the confirmation. [4] [5]

Promotional trials can renew at a higher price

A 2021 netz-trends investigation says trial prices for 3, 6 and 12 months rise sharply at renewal, and that the notice about it is a small footnote. XING says the renewal shows on the term screen and in the confirmation email. Read that confirmation before you start a trial. [3]

Reviewers report the same pattern: a free three-month trial that renewed for a year (March 2018), and a trial that renewed at a higher price (February 2023). These are individual reports, so treat them as a warning, not a rate. [7]

ProJobs is a separate bill, and it must be cancelled separately

ProJobs is a paid add-on. meetergo (October 2026) gives 14.95 EUR a month without stating the term. At its 2014 launch it cost 24.95 EUR a month, according to Jobambition. Heise (2021) and netz-trends (2021) say it must be cancelled separately; XING's 2021 statement says both can be cancelled by email, and netz-trends says a combined bundle needs two cancellations. [1] [10] [4] [3]

Reviewers also report large ProJobs charges, including 149.85 EUR for six months (March 2020) and 240 EUR for an add-on they did not notice (May 2020). These are user reports, not XING price lists. [8]

Recruiters pay per seat or per job ad, and the minimum term is disputed

TalentManager Core costs 366 EUR per recruiter seat a month, or 4,390 EUR a year. Pro costs 474 EUR a month, or 5,690 EUR a year (Sprad, October 2026; OMR Reviews lists the same tiers). Sprad says the minimum term is one to two years and that seats are billed monthly. Suitapp (October 2026) describes a 12-month minimum paid in advance, renewing automatically unless you give three months' notice. Ask for the term and notice date in writing before you sign. [14] [15] [21]

Sprad estimates a discount of 250 to 300 EUR a seat for teams of 10 or more. That is a competing vendor's estimate, and XING does not publish the threshold. [14]

A single job ad costs 899 EUR net for 60 days, plus VAT, according to resellers OnApply and Personalturm in 2026. It is not clear whether 899 EUR is the standard price for one ad or a reduced rate. Other resellers sell the same ad from 449 EUR net (Personalturm, 2026), and some sell it with a boost at 999 EUR net. Before 2026 XING sold tiered packages from 539 to 1,399 EUR, according to OMR Reviews (August 2025), and sources disagree on how those packages ended. [17] [18] [16]
